Academic All-District Basketball Teams Announced

RICHARDSON, Texas – Thirty-one ASC basketball student-athletes were named to 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams in recognition of outstanding performance in the classroom and on the field.
 
There were 13 men’s basketball and 18 women’s basketball student-athletes selected on the Academic All-District teams. Thirteen ASC basketball programs had at least one member with both teams from six institutions having a selection on both teams. Students were nominated for the award by campus sports information staff who are members of the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).
 
CSC Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Mar. 14 (men’s) and Mar. 15 (women’s).
