New Braunfels, Texas – The American Southwest Conference (ASC) has announced a partnership with Officially Human, an organization dedicated to restoring respect and positive treatment for sports officials at all levels. Officially Human works to educate and engage administrators, coaches, and fans while supporting the recruitment and retention of officials.
“We’re proud to work with Officially Human to help reinforce the importance of sportsmanship and respect throughout our conference,” said ASC Commissioner Leslie Schuemann. “Officials deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, and we believe promoting that culture starts with everyone—coaches, student-athletes, administrators, and fans.”
Collegiate conferences across the country have recognized the importance of supporting sports officials, partnering with Officially Human to promote sportsmanship and advocate for the officials who serve their competitions.
