DALLAS, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor was predicted to win at the 2024 American Southwest Conference Women’s Cross Country Championship, collecting 14 points and two first-place votes to lead a vote by league head coaches.
East Texas Baptist ranked second with 12 points and one first-place vote. The Tigers were third in the team standings at last year’s championship. Hardin-Simmons was selected third with 10 points and the final first-place vote. LeTourneau rounds out the poll in fourth with four points.
Eight runners are tabbed on the Runners to Watch list. The list includes the 2023 Individual Medalist, Kylah Holland (HSU), and five 2023 All-Conference selections.
The first competitions of the fall season are slated for August 30
th and 31
st.
