OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Noah Garcia, RB, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons senior running back Noah Garcia (Abilene, Texas) ran for 123 yards and two scores and had five receptions for 36 yards as the Cowboys defeated Mary Hardin-Baylor. He scored a 43-yard touchdown run on the opening drive of the game.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Kaiden Roden, LB, Jr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons junior linebacker Kaiden Roden (Quinlan, Texas) led the Cowboys' defensive effort that held Mary Hardin-Baylor to 183 yards on the day and to just 45 yards on 27 carries on the ground. Roden had 12 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, broke up a pass and recovered a fumble.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Osvaldo Gomez, K, So., Howard Payne
Howard Payne sophomore kicker Osvaldo Gomez (Dallas, Texas) accounted for 12 of Howard Payne's 36 total points in their win against East Texas Baptist with field goals of 20, 34, and a career long 40 yards, with 3 total extra points.
 

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive 
Howard Payne junior running back Blessing (Bill) Ngene (Madisonville, Texas) highlighted Howard Payne's rushing attack in their win against ETBU, rushing for 113 yards on 25 attempts, 1 reception for 9 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Defensive
Howard Payne senior linebacker Cade Rochinski (Montgomery, Texas) totaled 6 tackles (3 solo, 3 assisted), 2 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sack in their win against ETBU. Rochinski contributed to HPU's defense that held the Tigers to 30 total rushing yards (1.4 yards per carry).
 
Special Teams
Hardin-Simmons junior kicker Pedro Altamirano (Clyde, Texas) hit a pair of first-half field goals from 34 and 22 yards and he continues to be a weapon on kickoffs as he put five of seven through the end zone for touchbacks. He ranks second nationally with 27 touchbacks on the year.
