OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Dylan Garcia, F, Jr., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist junior forward
Dylan Garcia (Clovis, Calif.) netted both goals in the win over Hendrix, with the tying goal in the 56th minute and the winning goal in the 74th minute. For the week, he had four shots, all of which were on goal. He helped ETBU to a 2-0 week and their first ASC win. He played 76 of the 90 minutes against Hendrix and then 36 minutes versus HPU.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Brett LaPorte, GK, Fr., Frisco
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman goalkeeper
Brett LaPorte (Frisco, Texas) pitched a shutout against Hardin-Simmons, making six saves in a full 90-minute contest. He faced 10 shots in the match.

Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore defender
Yannis Benae (Frisco, Texas) helped the Cru to a 1-0 win over Hardin-Simmons, scoring the game-winner in the 50th minute. He finished a pass from Aidan Aguilera-Reeves for the score. Benae put three shots up with two on frame in the full 90-minute contest.

East Texas Baptist sophomore goalkeeper
Ryan Lord (Fate, Texas) earned two wins on the week, shutting out HPU, 3-0, for his third shutout of the year. After allowing a goal in the 4th minute versus Hendrix, no more shots made it by him for a 176-minute shutout streak. He posted two saves in both matches, as both saves against Hendrix came in the first half, as the defense didn't allow any shots in the second half. HPU took only five shots, with two on goal, as Lord stopped them.
