AMERICAN SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS OF THE WEEK

MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Noah Zarate, Fr., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist freshman Noah Zarate (Canton, Texas) ran a 28:01.7 in the 8K in Arkansas, coming in 67th place out of over 260 runners. He ran against NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, and JUCO programs. There were two D3 programs and he had the third best D3 time out of over 20 runners.
 
WOMEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Phoebe Dunham, Sr., East Texas Baptist  
East Texas Baptist senior Phoebe Dunham (Prairieville, Louisiana) competed against NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, and JUCO runners coming in 39th place out of over 240 runners. She had the top program for D3 of the two programs participating. She ran a 19:47.3 on the hot, muggy morning and was 16 seconds off the top 30.
