OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Baylee Mobley, OH, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mobley led UMHB to 2-0 week with wins over Austin College and Hendrix. Mobley hit 36 kills in seven sets last week, averaging 5.14 kills per set. She had 19 kills against Austin College before a 17-3-35 performance at Hendrix. Mobley hit .354 on the week, scoring 41.5 points.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Callie Humphrey, DS, Sr., East Texas Baptist
Humphrey anchored the Tiger defense with a dominant weekend performance, averaging 6.5 digs per set while maintaining a .976 reception rate on 41 total attempts. She also contributed seven service aces, helping ETBU control momentum from the back row. Her leadership and poise kept the Tigers organized defensively and played a crucial role in ETBU’s 2–0 weekend sweep at home.
 
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive
Keatyn Rodgers from Hardin-Simmons had a great outing for the Cowgirls with 19 assists in the sweep of Sul Ross on Wednesday. She assisted on 19 of the 45 total kills by HSU in the match and added three kills of her own, including one to clinch the match. Rodgers added two services aces and five digs for the Cowgirls in the win.
Lara Hornsby was a two-way force for ETBU, posting a weekend-high 22 kills while hitting .362 across two matches. Her 3.67 kills per set led the Tigers, and she added 5 block assists and 3 assists to round out her all-around performance. Hornsby’s consistency and efficiency in attack helped set the tone offensively, pacing ETBU to a 2–0 weekend.
Defensive
Hardin-Simmons Kat Martinez had the most digs with 14 for the Cowgirls in the sweep of Sul Ross State last week. She averaged 4.67 digs a set in the match and had three service aces as well. Martinez is currently third in the ASC with 3.98 digs a set on the season.
Angie Garcia from UMHB totaled 40 digs last week with 23 against Austin College and 17 at Hendrix. She averaged 5.71 digs per set in a pair of wins for the Cru.
