DALLAS, Texas – The
University of Mary Hardin-Baylor was predicted to win at the 2025 American Southwest Conference Women’s Golf Championship, collecting 34 points and four first-place votes to lead a vote by league head coaches.
The Crusaders ranked first with 34 points and four first-place votes after finishing second in the ASC Championship last season.
UC Santa Cruz was picked second with 28 points and one first-place vote while
Hardin-Simmons ranks third with 23 points.
LeTourneau earned the last first-place vote, placing fourth with 20 points.
East Texas Baptist ranked fifth with 14 points followed by
Howard Payne with seven points.
UT Dallas will not count in the 2025 standings and are ineligible for both the ASC and NCAA Championships due to reclassifying to NCAA Division II.
Twelve golfers are tabbed on the Golfers to Watch list, including five 2024 All-Conference selections.
UC Santa Cruz opened the spring season on February 10
th while five others will return to action on February 24
th.
