MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Kendrick Hoster, Sr., McMurry
Kendrick Hoster won the John Nellermore Classic, hosted at Max Starcke Park GCS in Seguin, Texas, shooting rounds of 68-73-70 for a 211 total. Finishing 5-under-par, Hoster also helped lead McMurry to a third-place team finish, behind Southwestern (TX) and LeTourneau.

WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Samantha Shaw, Jr., UC Santa Cruz
Samantha Shaw tied for the overall title at the CA State Intercollegiate, helping UC Santa Cruz to a tie for second-place overall with Pomona-Pitzer. Shaw finished three-under-par, shooting rounds of 72-69 for a 141 total. The Banana Slugs finished 32 strokes ahead of fourth-place Redlands.

Ryan Avila finished tied for second at the John Nellermore Classic, helping Schreiner to a sixth-place team finish.

Shay West finished fourth at the John Nellermore Classic, helping Hardin-Simmons to a first-place team finish.
