HITTER OF THE WEEK – Nathan Harmon, 3B, Jr., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist junior third baseman Nathan Harmon (Flower Mound, Texas) had a 1.000 SLG in four games with three home runs and four RBI. He went 3-of-4 in the win over Adrian College on Monday with two RBI and three runs scored and a home run. He made it 1-0 in the second inning on a single and then had a solo home run in the seventh for an 8-5 lead. In the second game vs. Pacific, he was 2-of-3 with two RBI and two home runs. He had two solo home runs in the game with one in fourth to make it 2-0 and one in the eighth extending the lead to 6-2.
 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Zac Schneider, P, Gr., LeTourneau
LeTourneau graduate student pitcher Zac Schneider (Houston, Texas) came up clutch for LeTourneau in a 10-8 win at Belhaven. Coming on in relief, Schneider inherited a runner at third with nobody out and a one-run lead. He escaped that jam preserving the lead before stranding another tying run at third in the next inning. He finished the appearance going three scoreless innings with four strikeouts and just two hits allowed to notch the victory.

Hardin-Simmons sophomore outfielder Justin Blancaflor (Allen, Texas) went 6-for-9 in two games with a double, a triple, drove in three runs and scored a run. He had four hits against nationally-ranked Trinity and had two hits and drove in three runs at Concordia.
 
LeTourneau senior outfielder Zach Zarko (Fort Worth, Texas) batted .417 (5-for-12) with two runs, two RBIs, and an on-base percentage of .500 on the week. Zarko had a hit in all four games on the week. He went 1-for-2 with a walk in a loss at Division I foe Northwestern State. In a game two win at Belhaven, Zarko went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, one run, and one steal.
 
UT Dallas senior third baseman/short stop Efren Munoz (El Paso, Texas) hit .467 (7-for-15), with four runs scored and eight runs driven in as the Comets went 3-1 at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Fla. He recorded a hit and a RBI in all four contests. In Saturday's 21-10 win over Augustana (Ill.), Munoz was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI. Munoz has a 14-game hitting streak dating back to last season.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior outfielder Tyler Betts (Round Rock, Texas) went 4-for-4 in the Cru's 5-2 win over Southwestern, scoring two runs with one RBI. He added two more hits against Schreiner, hitting .600 on the week.
 
PITCHERS
 
Hardin-Simmons senior Johnny Follett (Carrollton, Texas) worked four innings over two relief appearances and allowed just one hit and no runs. He pitched one inning against Concordia and three scoreless innings against Trinity.
 
UT Dallas senior pitcher Kenny Garza (League City, Texas) earned the victory in Sunday's 5-1 win against Alfred State at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Florida. He threw 2.1 innings of scoreless relief, allowing just one walk and no hits while fanning one. The win was the ninth of Garza's career.
 
East Texas Baptist junior pitcher Tyler Bogusz (Frisco, Texas) went 2-0 on the week with wins over then #18 Adrian College and Pacific University, recording seven strikeouts and only one walk. Against Adrian, he pitched four shutout innings in five innings of work for the win retiring the first 10 batters of the game. Adrian had just two hits and one earned run with five strikeouts in that time in 18 batters faced. On Saturday, he went eight innings of the nine inning game vs. Pacific giving up four hits with seven scoreless innings. He retired the side in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior pitcher James McGlumphy (Round Rock, Texas) threw seven innings with two earned runs allowed. He struck out eight batters, giving up just six hits in 28 batters faced.
