DALLAS, Texas – Two Student-Athletes represent the American Southwest Conference on the D3hoops.com Women’s Basketball All-Region 10 Teams, released Tuesday. Hardin-Simmons freshman Jacqueline Berry earns Region 10 Rookie of the Year honors.
Hardin-Simmons freshman forward
Jacqueline Berry earned Region 10 Rookie of the Year honors and was a Second Team All-Region 10 selection. Berry led the ASC in total points (376) and points-per-game (13.9) while shooting 45 percent from field goal range. She ranked second in rebounding with 190 total boards, averaging seven per game. Berry also led the league in steals with 63 total. She was also named ASC Freshman of the Year and All-ASC First Team.
East Texas Baptist graduate student guard
Payton Hicks earned First Team All-Region 10 honors after guiding the Tigers to the 2025 ASC Women’s Basketball Championship and regular season title. Hicks ranked second in the league in total points scored with 374 and third in points-per-game with 13.4. She led the league in made free throws (136), total assists (113), and assists per game (4.0). She was also named ASC Player of the Year, All-ASC First Team and 2025 ASC Tournament MVP.
Players from these lists are eligible for the
D3hoops.com All-America teams. The teams will be released March 22, at the national championship game.
