HITTER OF THE WEEK – Carson Hagan, OF, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior outfielder Carson Hagan (Arlington, Texas) went 4-for-7 from the plate, scoring three runs on the week. He scored the Cru’s first run against No. 9 Trinity and got on for the go-ahead run in the fifth, which proved to be the game winner. Hagan followed that with a three-RBI home run against Concordia Texas and an RBI single. He recorded two hits in each game with three total runs and four RBI.
 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Ryan Brewer, RHP, So., LeTourneau
LeTourneau sophomore right-handed pitcher Ryan Brewer (Klein, Texas) tossed seven shutout innings and picked up the win in LeTourneau's 7-1 series-clinching victory over Southwestern. Brewer only allowed two hits and one walk across his seven innings while striking out six.

LeTourneau junior outfielder Zach Baker (Memphis, Tenn.) batted .462 (6-for-13) with four runs, two RBIs, five steals, and a .533 on-base percentage on the week. In a game-two win over Southwestern, Baker went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and four stolen bases. He had at least one hit in three of the four games on the week.
 
UT Dallas junior catcher Nico Fernandez (Cypress, Texas) hit .615 (8-for-13) with two doubles and seven RBI in three games as the Comets went 4-0 at the Tucson Invitational Games. He went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a double in Saturday's 21-2, seven-inning win over Macalester. Fernandez ended the week with a 4-for-5, four-RBI performance in an 8-2 victory against Hamline.
 
PITCHERS
 
UT Dallas senior right-handed pitcher Trevor McGrath (Kyle, Texas) earned a three-inning save in the Comets' 21-2 victory against Macalester. He allowed just one hit while striking out seven of the 10 batters faced in the scoreless outing.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior pitcher James McGlumphy (Round Rock, Texas) earned the win against No. 9 Trinity University on Tuesday. McGlumphy pitched six innings, earning the win with just three runs allowed. He struck out four batters, allowing just two walks and eight hits.
