MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Jake Atherton, Jr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons junior Jake Atherton (McKinney, Texas) tied for fourth place at the Linda Lowery Invitational with a 70-74=144 (E). He ranked fifth for birdies with seven recorded in the tournament.
 
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Brinley Patterson, Fr., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist freshman Brinley Patterson (Cameron, Texas) led the Tigers at the Linda Lowery Invitational, tying for third individually with a 76-82=158 (+14). She ranked first in the tournament with five birdies and third with 19 pars.
  OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior William Mullin (Omaha, NE) led the Cru at the Linda Lowery Invitational with a 71-72=145 (+1) for a sixth-place finish. He ranked first in the tournament with 25 total pars.
 
Howard Payne freshman Miken Hernandez (Andrews, Texas) placed top 15 at the Linda Lowery Invitational with an overall 75-74=149 (+5) with seven birdies.
