Crow named Golfer of the Year to Highlight 2025 Women's Golf Honors

DALLAS, Texas – Izzy Crow secured Golfer of the Year to headline the 2025 American Southwest Conference Women’s Golf awards and all-conference teams, announced Sunday following the championship. All voting was done by the ASC Head Women’s Golf Coaches, except for Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year, which was completed by student-athletes during the tournament.

Mary Hardin-Baylor senior Izzy Crow was named Golfer of the Year following her dominating performance as she led throughout all three rounds of the ASC Championship Tournament. Going into the tournament, Crow was ranked 94th nationally as she holds a 76.0 stroke average this season. She has had a pair of top three finishes this season while recording 13 of 15 rounds shooting in the 70s.

East Texas Baptist Anastasia Stava earned Newcomer of the Year. She is averaging an 87.4 across 13 rounds and placed 21st at the Championship Tournament.

UC Santa Cruz Olivia Lew earned Freshman of the Year. She ranks 23rd regionally and No. 92nd nationally and is averaging a 76.8 score across 14 rounds. Lew tied for third at the ASC Championship, scoring just three strokes behind the lead.

East Texas Baptist freshman Rylee Beard was named Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year.

Mary Hardin-Baylor head coach Jackie Ralston earned her third ASC Coach of the Year honor. Ralston led the Cru to the fourth ASC Championship in her time as head coach this season. UMHB has recorded five team wins this season and placed top five in two other tournaments.
