Mary Hardin-Baylor claims 2025 ASC Women’s Golf Championship; Crow Medalist

BROWNWOOD, Texas – Mary Hardin-Baylor claims the American Southwest Conference Women’s Golf Championship title on Sunday at The Hideout in Brownwood. Izzy Crow was named Medalist after holding the top spot in all three rounds.

UMHB earns its 14th ASC title after place after carding a final round 310 (+22). The Cru scored an overall 299-298-310=907 (+43) across the three-day tournament, maintaining first place after each round.

Mary Hardin-Baylor senior Izzy Crow earned the Medalist title by one stroke with an overall 226 (+10). Crow opened the tournament with an even first round before shooting a 75 and 79 on the second and third rounds. She totaled seven birdies and 36 pars while leading on par 4 shooting with a 4.17 average.

UC Santa Cruz placed second with an overall 920 (+56). East Texas Baptist placed third carding a 958 (+94). LeTourneau finished fourth with a 963 (+99) followed by Hardin-Simmons with a 975 (+111).  

The 2025 All-Tournament Team consists of the top six placed finishers. Following Crow, UMHB’s Camryn Kiser finished in second place with a 227 (+11). UC Santa Cruz golfers Olivia Lew and Adeline Truong tied for third, carding a 229 (+13). UMHB’s Avery Hill placed fifth with an overall 230 (+14).UC Santa Cruz golfers Jiya Dalal and Samantha Shaw tied for sixth place with a total 231 (+16). 

Mary Hardin-Baylor receives the ASC Automatic Qualifier to the NCAA DIII Women’s Golf Championship Tournament. The announcement for the Tournament will be made on NCAA.com on Monday, May 5th.
