DALLAS, Texas – The 2025 American Southwest Conference Baseball Championship seedings were finalized on the last day of the regular season.
 
East Texas Baptist, who was named Co-Regular Season Champion with LeTourneau, earned the right to host through a tiebreaker. The Tigers and YellowJackets both finished the season with an 11-5 record in ASC play. ETBU won the regular season matchup, 3-1 and earned the higher seed.
 
This will be the 27th ASC Baseball Championship Tournament and will be a five-team, double-elimination format.
 
No. 1 Seed East Texas Baptist (25-14, 11-5 ASC) earned the top seed for the fourth straight year. The Tigers are ranked in the top 25 in both national polls. ETBU will play game three of the tournament on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. against the winner of game 1 between Hardin-Simmons and Howard Payne. The Tigers are 27-24 all-time in the tournament and are making their 14th overall appearance. ETBU captured its first-ever ASC Baseball Championship in 2023.
 
No. 2 Seed LeTourneau (21-18, 11-5 ASC) will play in game two on Thursday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. against Mary Hardin-Baylor. The YellowJackets earned a 3-1 series win against the Cru earlier this season. LeTourneau is making its 9th ASC tournament appearance and sixth consecutive. The YellowJackets are 12-15 overall in tournament play with their last conference title being in 2014.  
 
No. 3 Seed Mary Hardin-Baylor (24-16, 9-7 ASC) ended the regular season with a 3-1 series win against East Texas Baptist to secure the third seed. The Cru will play in game two on Thursday, May 1 at 3:00 p.m. against LeTourneau. UMHB is 6-22 in tournament play and is making their 11th appearance.
 
No. 4 Seed Hardin-Simmons (11-24, 8-8 ASC) will play Howard Payne to open the ASC Championship Tournament on Thursday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. The Cowboys closed the regular season with four wins over the Yellow Jackets last week. Hardin-Simmons is making its 20th appearance and is 29-43 in the tournament. This is their fourth consecutive appearance, as the Cowboys were the runner-up in 2023.
 
No. 5 Seed Howard Payne (9-30, 1-15 ASC) will play Hardin-Simmons in the first game of the Tournament on Thursday, May 1 at 11:00 a.m. The winner of the contest will take on East Texas Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets make their 8th appearance and are 6-14 overall. Their last tournament appearance was in 2019.
