DALLAS, Texas – LeTourneau graduate student designated hitter
Dane Jones and Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman pitcher
Kolby McBee headline the 2025 American Southwest Conference Baseball Awards and All-Conference Teams announced Wednesday.
Jones is a five-time ASC All-Conference recipient and led the YellowJackets in many offensive categories. He slashed .408/.516/.882, while totaling 62 hits, 60 RBI, 54 runs scored and 21 home runs. Each of those marks ranked among the top 5 in the league, with slug percentage, runs scored, RBI and home runs ranking first. Jones broke the ASC career home run record this season with 62 total in his time as a YellowJacket. On the field, Jones posted 38 putouts with an assist.
McBee earned ASC Pitcher of the Year and Co-Freshman of the Year. McBee led the Cru with a 3.88 ERA and a 1.53 Whip. He was 7-2 in nine games started, making 11 total appearances. McBee was top 10 in the league with 51.0 innings pitched and 35 strikeouts and held batters to a .292 batting average.
East Texas Baptist third baseman
Joaquin Costa was named Co-Freshman of the Year with McBee. He ranked second for the Tigers with a .362 batting average with 24 RBI. Hollingsworth totaled 42 hits, six doubles, six homers, and 26 runs scored. He was 9-of-13 on stolen bases.
East Texas Baptist graduate student outfielder
Luke Bumpus claimed Newcomer of the Year. He amassed 51 hits with 11 doubles, a triple and six home runs. Bumpus led the Tigers with a .415 batting average and batted in 35 runs while scoring 38 times.

Easton Cline were voted Co-Sportsmanship Athletes of the Year.
LeTourneau won Coaching Staff of the Year. Guided by three-year head coach
Paul Phillips, the YellowJackets claimed a share of the 2025 ASC Regular Season Title first the first time in program history. LeTourneau went 23-20 overall this season while boasting an 11-5 ASC record. Also on Phillips’ staff are: Ross Skipper (Pitching Coach), Brandt Wood (Player Development & Catching Coordinator), Harrison Adelgren (Outfield Coach) and Ethan Wood (Infield Coach).
