Women’s Golf | Mary Hardin-Baylor set for NCAA Championship

DALLAS, Texas – Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s golf team was selected to participate in the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, announced Monday. The tournament is at Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, Virginia, running from May 13-16.
 
The Cru earned an automatic bid by winning their 14th American Southwest Conference Championship last month at The Hideout Golf Club. Mary Hardin-Baylor led the entire way and posting a 54-hole score of 299-298-310=907 (+43). Izzy Crow was the individual medalist and posted a 72-75-79=226 (+10).
 
UMHB returns to the national championship for the first team since 2022 and are making their 14th all-time appearance. In 2022, UMHB finished 14th as a team and individual Sydney McConnell tied for 14th individually.
 
This year’s national tournament will have three All-ASC First Team golfers including: Izzy Crow, Camryn Kiser and Avery Hill. Crow was named ASC Golfer of the Year.
UMHB will tee off beginning at 9:15 am (CT) on Tuesday, May 13th in Williamsburg.
