OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tatum Barnett, MF, Fr., Hardin-Simmons

Hardin-Simmons freshman midfielder Tatum Barnett (Midlothian, Texas) scored two goals for the Cowgirl offense on Sunday in the team's 4-3 win against Southwestern. She currently is tied for the lead in the American Southwest Conference with four goals and leads the Cowgirl team in six games this year.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Cadence Tischler, GK, Sr., East Texas Baptist

East Texas Baptist senior goalkeeper Cadence Tischler (The Colony, Texas) earned her third straight shutout with a 3-0 win over Schreiner. She had one save in 82 minutes played and now has shutout opponents for 271 minutes in the last four matches. Tischler stopped SU's first shot on goal in the 68th minute right after ETBU scored in the 65th minute. She faced shots in the first half and three in the second.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES

East Texas Baptist junior forward Giselle Laredo (Richardson, Texas) played in 55 minutes versus Schreiner and had the second goal of the match. She took two shots on goal with one scored helping ETBU to a 3-0 win.
