New Braunfels, Texas – The ASC is pleased to announce the hiring of Sierra Dickson as their Assistant Commissioner. Sierra will serve as the primary contact for media coordination, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with media partners. Additional key responsibilities include championships administration, membership support, maintaining the ASC website and social media platforms, promoting the conference, and enhancing the conference's public profile.

Sierra earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and her Master of Business Administration from Texas State University’s McCoy College of Business. Professionally, she has gained experience working with NBC Sports, the Women’s Sports Foundation, Texas State Athletics, and nonprofit sports organizations including RBI Austin and Standard of Athletics.
Sierra is a former Division I student-athlete and business professional with a strong background in sports, marketing, and operations. She attended Texas State University, where she competed on the women’s basketball team and was a member of the 2022–23 Sun Belt Conference regular season championship team.
During her collegiate career, Sierra was recognized for her academic excellence, earning multiple Texas State Star of Excellence Awards, Dean’s List honors, Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List selections, and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition. She also served as the Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Originally from Carrollton, Texas, Sierra currently resides in San Antonio. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
