HITTER OF THE WEEK – Paul Samaripa, So., SS, Hardin-Simmons
Samaripa turned in a big week at the plate, leading the Cowboys to wins over Schreiner and Dallas. He went 8-for-11 (.727) with eight runs scored and 12 RBI. In each game, Samaripa recorded a pair of home runs and added two stolen bases on the week, showcasing a well-rounded offensive performance.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Caleb Reynolds, Sr., P, Hardin-Simmons
Reynolds continued his strong 2026 campaign with a 7.0-inning performance in a 16-2 win over Schreiner. He faced 24 batters, allowing just three hits while holding opponents to a .125 batting average. Reynolds struck out eight and improved to 4-2 on the season with the victory.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES

HITTERS
Connor Massimini of East Texas Baptist hit .438 with eight RBI, two doubles, and three home runs across four games last week. In a 14-3 win over LeTourneau, he went 4-for-5 (.800) with four hits and three runs scored.

Joshua Lile of Howard Payne had an impressive week, batting .429 (6-for-14). He helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 2-1 record against Nebraska Wesleyan, including a 5-3 win in game one and an 8-7 victory to secure the series.

PITCHERS
Trace Garcia delivered two key wins against Nebraska Wesleyan. Across 4.1 innings, he faced 15 batters without allowing a hit, posting a 0.00 ERA while striking out six on the week.
