HITTER OF THE WEEK – Erin Love, Sr., C/IF, Hardin-Simmons
Erin Love led Hardin-Simmons with a .750 batting average this week. She was a consistent offensive threat, totaling four runs, six hits, and three RBI on the week. Love was perfect at the plate in a 6-1 victory over Hardin-Simmons, recording a double and drawing a walk. She finished with a 1.125 slugging percentage.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – McKenzie Jones, Jr., P, East Texas Baptist
McKenzie Jones pitched a complete-game, one-hit shutout over 7.0 innings to secure the series win over Mary Hardin-Baylor. She faced 24 batters and held opponents to a .045 batting average while recording five strikeouts. Jones retired the final 12 batters of the game as the Tigers earned a 1-0 victory. This marks her third ASC Pitcher of the Week honor of the 2026 season.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
HITTERS
Siannah Nava of Howard Payne delivered a strong performance at the plate, totaling three runs, four hits, and five RBI. She posted a .400 batting average, a .538 on-base percentage, and an .800 slugging percentage.
PITCHERS
Bree Battenfelder of Hardin-Simmons threw 9.1 innings across two games, earning two wins over Howard Payne for the Cowgirls. She recorded 10 strikeouts and held opponents to a .222 batting average. Battenfelder improved to 3-0 on the season after her performance this week.
