New Braunfels, Texas - East Texas Baptist University has been named the 2025-26 American Southwest Conference Sports Information Department of the Year after a vote by the league's Directors of Sports Information.
The Sports Information Department of the Year Award recognizes a conference communications staff annually that is judged by its peers to provide a high level of service and professionalism to its student-athletes, institution, and the conference.
East Texas Baptist's Sports Information Department is led by Adam Ledyard, Assistant Athletic Director for Communications. The 2025-26 communications staff also included Cal Logan, Demondre Williams, Harvey Rice, and Mark Robinson.
Ledyard completed his 14th year at East Texas Baptist in 2025-26 after being promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Communications in 2016. Throughout his career, he has worked at the NCAA in Divisions II and III, the NAIA, and multiple Division I bowl games.

This marks the fourth time a staff led by Ledyard has earned the ASC Sports Information Department of the Year honor, and the first since the 2022-23 season.
