OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Paul Woodard, RB, Sr., East Texas Baptist
Woodard earns consecutive Player of the Week honors after another career performance, leading East Texas Baptist to a 46-14 win over Centenary (La.). He rushed for a career-high four touchdowns while averaging 10.6 yards per carry and totaling 202 yards on 19 carries. With ETBU trailing 14-12 at halftime, Woodard scored three of his four touchdowns in the third quarter to give the Tigers a 32-14 lead and help secure the victory. Woodard now has 10 rushing touchdowns and 11 total touchdowns this season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Devin Eure, DB, So., Schreiner
Eure came up big for the Mountaineers in a 31-28 win over Southwestern (Texas), recording two interceptions and six total tackles. Eure's first interception came in the third quarter and resulted in a 10-yard touchdown return, tying the game at 21-21. He then secured his second interception late in the game, capitalizing on pressure from the Mountaineer defense to help secure the victory.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Bryce Warren, K, So., Schreiner
With the game tied 28-28, Warren connected on a 33-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter to give Schreiner the 31-28 victory. He also converted all four of his extra-point attempts, finishing with seven points. Warren added 259 yards on six punts, averaging 43.2 yards per punt with a long of 60 yards.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES (OFFENSE) | Bryce Still, QB, So., Howard Payne
Howard Payne quarterback Bryce Still threw for 388 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Yellow Jackets to a 37-17 victory over Wayland Baptist (Texas). Still completed 26 passes while averaging 14.9 yards per completion in a career performance.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES (DEFENSE) | Toby White, LB, Fr., East Texas Baptist
White led the Tigers' defense with five solo tackles and eight total tackles in a 46-14 win over Centenary (La.). After ETBU entered halftime with a lead, White helped the Tigers shut out Centenary in the second half, holding the opponent scoreless in the third and fourth quarters.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES (SEPCIAL TEAMS) | Jax Rodriguez, K/P, Jr., McMurry
Rodriguez went 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts in McMurry's 42-16 win over Huntingdon. He recorded 384 yards on six kickoffs, including two touchbacks.
