OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Madison LaDart, MF, So., Howard Payne
Howard Payne’s Madison LaDart helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 3-0 start, earning wins over Austin College, LeTourneau and the University of Dallas. LaDart recorded two assists in the second half against Austin College to help secure a 4-0 victory before scoring a goal of her own in a 4-1 win over Dallas. Against LeTourneau, LaDart drew a foul that led to Kenzie Cameron’s game-winning free-kick goal in the 1-0 victory.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK | Landry Combs, GK, Gr., Howard Payne
Landry Combs opened the season with a 2-0 record, posting shutouts in both games. The goalkeeper totaled six saves while recording a perfect 1.000 save percentage in 135 minutes of action.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES

Offensive
East Texas Baptist’s Grace Shurley scored a goal in the Tigers’ 3-0 win over the University of Dallas. In a 1-1 week for ETBU, Shurley finished with a .667 shots-on-goal percentage.

Defensive
McMurry’s Cadence Foulkrod started in goal for the War Hawks in a 3-0 win over Austin College, recording two saves on two shots on goal to post a shutout and a perfect 1.000 save percentage.
