INDIANAPOLIS — The Hardin-Simmons women’s soccer team advanced to the NCAA tournament with its seventh straight American Southwest Conference title and they have learned their first-round destination.

The Cowgirls will head to California for the first weekend of the tournament. No. 17 HSU (18-1) will face No. 4 Puget Sound (18-1) in the first round at Claremont Mudd Scripps Universities in Claremont, Calif. In the other game, CMS will play host to UC-Santa Cruz. The winners will play on Sunday for the right to advance to the sectional round.

Game times will be set later in the day.
