Tournament Bracket

RICHARDSON, Texas – No. 6 Louisiana College picked up its first win in school history in the American Southwest Conference Men’s Championship Tournament with an 81-71 upset win over No. 3 Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Senior guard Doc Welch led the Wildcats with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting including a game-high three treys. With the win LC advances to the tournament semifinals on Saturday and will play the winner of the No. 2 Hardin-Simmons vs. No. 7 Sul Ross State game.

Mary Hardin-Baylor was led by junior forward Jerard Graham and senior guard James Allen with 19 points each. The Cru ends its season with a 17-9 overall record.
