EAST DIVISION MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEKRyan Elwood, Jr., Texas-Tyler
Junior Ryan Elwood (Cypress, Texas / Cypress HS) produced two wins for the Patriots including a hard-fought 7-6 (12-10), 6-7 (10-12), 10-3 sixth singles win over Radha Vishnubhotla of No. 13 Washington-St. Louis on Sunday. Elwood would drop his doubles match against WSL but bounced back with an 8-2 second doubles win with partner Daniel Budd against Texas Lutheran to cap the weekend on Sunday in Seguin.
 
EAST DIVISION WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEKAlexandra McKissick, Fr., Texas Tyler
Texas-Tyler freshman Alexandra McKissick (Humble, Texas / Atascosita HS) rolled to a pair of wins with a 7-5, 6-2 fourth singles and 8-3 second doubles victories with partner Nicole Musngi at Texas Lutheran on Saturday in Seguin.
 
WEST DIVISION MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEKRyan Morton, So., Texas Dallas
Sophomore Ryan Morton (Odessa, Texas / Odessa HS) picked up two singles wins and paired with teammate Kenneth Sweeney for two doubles victories as he led the Comets to two key ASC West road wins last week. Against Mary Hardin-Baylor, Horton was a straight-set winner in singles and partnered with Sweeney for an 8-4 win at doubles. Horton then earned an 6-0, 6-1, win in singles against Concordia Texas Sunday after collecting an 8-5 win with Sweeney in doubles. Morton is now 5-0 on the season in singles competition and is 4-1 with Sweeney in doubles.
 
WEST DIVISION WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEKElizabeth Labra, Fr., Texas Dallas
Freshman Elizabeth Labra (Friendswood, Texas / Friendswood HS) went 2-0 in both doubles and singles as she sparked the Comets to a pair of ASC West road matches last week. Labra partnered with teammate Sumvruta Iyengar for an 8-1 win in her first win of the season at No. 1 doubles at Concordia Texas Sunday. Labra and Iyengar also won at No. 2 doubles Friday in a win at Mary Hardin-Baylor.

East Texas Baptist freshman Dillion Deatherage (Alvarado, Texas / Alvarado HS) helped the Tigers to a 1-0 start in ASC East play shutting out both opponents in singles and doubles play.
 
Hardin-Simmons freshman Griffin Weinkam (Frisco, Texas / Centennial HS) teamed with Chandler Livingston and fought off three match points to win at No. 2 doubles and then won at No. 4 singles against Sul Ross State. He was also the only Cowboy to win a set against No. 13 Washington (Mo.) in a 9-0 loss Saturday.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman Julian Dunmore (College Station, Texas / A&M Consolidated HS) moved up a spot in the line-up this week with Brendan Thompson injured and went 1-2 in both singles and doubles. He cruised to a pair of wins against Howard Payne in a crucial UMHB conference win. His losses came against Texas Dallas and nationally-ranked Trinity University.
 
Ozarks sophomore Jacob Organ (Burkburnett, Texas / Burkburnett HS) went 4-0 at No. 2 singles and 4-0 at No. 1 doubles during the week. Organ pushed Ozarks to an ASC-opening 9-0 win against Louisiana College April 1. He won 6-0, 6-0 in singles and teamed with Dillon Murray to pick up an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles. The next day, Organ recovered from a loss against John Brown's Fernando Hurley earlier in the season to earn a 7-6(4), 3-6, 10-6 win. He and Murray posted an 8-1 doubles win.

East Texas Baptist freshman Tiffany Stankiewicz (Keller, Texas / Fort Worth Christian School) went 2-0 on the week with a singles and doubles win over Louisiana College. The wins helped ETBU to a 1-0 start in ASC East play.
 
Hardin-Simmons sophomore Michaela Ellison (Lampasas, Texas / Lampasas HS) rallied from a 5-2 deficit in the first set to win 11 straight games in a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. She also won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles with Shayne Cook.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman Hope Nash (Sugar Land, Texas / Logos Academy) was 2-0 at No. 6 singles and teamed with Elizabeth Ostroff to go 2-0 at No. 3 doubles. Her wins helped lead the Cru to a victory over Howard Payne and she provided two of UMHB's three points in a 6-3 loss to Texas Dallas. She did not lose a set over the four matches on the week.
 
Ozarks freshman Paige Myers (Harrison, Ark. / Harrison HS) went 3-1 at No. 1 doubles and 3-1 at No. 2 singles during the week. Myers posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles against Louisiana College. She teamed with Kayla Tucker to pick up an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles against Louisiana College. She also won 6-4, 7-6 (4) against NAIA John Brown at No. 2 singles. Her only loss came at No. 1 doubles (8-6) against John Brown.
