CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Julian Paredes, F, Gr., Sul Ross State
Sul Ross State graduate student forward
Julian Paredes (El Paso, Texas) dropped 31 points in a 93-88 upset of No. 18 Trinity. He also landed 11 of 20 shots while dishing six assists and tallying four steals. This marks his third all-time conference player of the week award, with each coming once in consecutive seasons.
CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – C.J. LeBlanc, G, Jr., McMurry
McMurry junior guard
C.J. LeBlanc (Dallas, Texas) set a new single-game program record for made three-point baskets (11) during game at Southwestern. His 44-point effort at Georgetown was tied for the second-most points in a game in school history. He finished with 66 points over two games including 22 against No. 18 Trinity. Ran current string of double figure scoring games to 13. LeBlanc earned his second career ASC Player of the Week honor.

LeTourneau junior guard
Deonte Jackson (Nacogdoches, Texas) averaged 24.5 points, five rebounds, three assists, and 3.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week for LeTourneau. He had 23 points, four assists, four rebounds, and five steals in an 82-75 win at Schreiner on Saturday. In a 74-72 overtime loss at Texas Lutheran, Jackson added 26 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. He has 20-plus points in all five games this year.
Ozarks junior forward
Josh Ukpe (Bonham, Texas) scored 15 points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded three steals in a win over Austin College. Ukpe hit 3-of-6 from the three-point line.
UT Dallas graduate student guard
Kyle Poerschke (Houston, Texas) averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game as the Comets went 1-1 on at home. In a 58-53 loss to St. Thomas (Texas), he recorded 13 points and eight boards, followed by 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 103-65 victory against Arlington Baptist.
Howard Payne junior guard
Myles Brown (Houston, Texas) averaged 14.0 ppg on 55% shooting from the field in a 1-1 result last week. He was 6 of 11 from behind the arc (54.5%) to go with seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals overall.
Concordia Texas freshman guard
Jaylon Johnson (Humble, Texas) made a career-high five three-pointers and added a career-high 7 assists in the team’s lone matchup last week versus St. Thomas. He totaled 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting and was 83% (5-6) from deep.
