Holland Races at NCAA DIII Championship on Saturday

CARLISLE, Pa. – Hardin-Simmons' Cowgirl cross country runner Kylah Holland finished the season running a 22:34 at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship Race at Big Spring high school in Pennsylvania.
 
Holland led the Cowgirls all year and earned another trip the NCAA Championship for her efforts in 2023.
 
She finished first overall in two races this season for Hardin-Simmons, including as the individual champion in the ASC Championship race where Holland set the ASC record in the event.
 
Earlier in the year, she broke the school record in the 5k with a time of 17:51 running at DBU. Holland set the record in the Cowgirl 6k last year in the NCAA regional race in Washington state.
 
The junior finishes the year placing 104th in the nation with a 22:34 at the NCAA Championship in Pennsylvania. After becoming the first ever Cowgirl national qualifier in 2022, she is the now the only Cowgirl to run in the national championship twice.
