MEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Andrew Chow, So., UT Dallas
UT Dallas sophomore
Andrew Chow (Coppell, Texas) tied for first at the DIII Lidlifter with a 69-76=145 for one over par. He led the field with nine birdies over the 69 holes, helping the Comets to a second-place finish.
MEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Kaiden Schneider, Fr., LeTourneau
LeTourneau freshman
Kaiden Schneider (Bullard, Texas) earned co-medalist honors and led LeTourneau to a team title at the DIII Lidlifter in Kingwood, Texas. Schneider came back from a six-shot deficit in the final round to earn the co-title with a 2-under, 70. That aided LeTourneau as the YellowJackets erased a 12-stroke deficit in the final round to eke past UT Dallas by two strokes. The individual title was Schneider's second of the year. This is also Schneider’s second Golfer of the Week honor.
WOMEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Karen Lee, Sr., UT Dallas
UT Dallas senior
Karen Lee (Southlake, Texas) won her second tournament of the year, shooting a 75-70=145 (+1) at the DIII Lidlifter. She led the field with nine birdies over the two rounds. Lee's 70 was tied for the second-lowest score in Comet history while the 145 is the third-best 36-hole tally. The Comets won the three-team tournament by 76 strikes with a +10 (605). This is Lee’s second ASC Golfer of the Week honor this season.
WOMEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Julia Moss, So., Concordia Texas
Concordia Texas sophomore
Julia Moss (League City, Texas)
shot 74 on both days, which stood as the best after day one and the third-best on day two. She finished tied for first after the two-round event. She then entered a two-hole playoff in the final where she was downed by only one stroke. Her performance helped the Tornados take second place behind No. 23 Trinity.

MEN’S GOLF
East Texas Baptist junior
Jack Sladek (North Richland Hills, Texas) shot +4 Par (148) to finish tied for fifth at the DIII Lidlifter. His score was the third lowest finish among competitors in the rankings.
Hardin-Simmons junior
Anthony Browning (Abilene, Texas) posted a +6 Par (150) to finish tied for ninth at the DIII Lidlifter.
Howard Payne senior
Jake Angerstein (Early, Texas) opened the DIII Lidlifter with a 74 in the first round and finished with a 152 overall to tie for 14th.
Mary Hardin-Baylor freshman
William Sammons (Lubbock, Texas) led the team with a 152 and tied for 14th with Angerstein.
WOMEN’S GOLF
East Texas Baptist graduate student
Emily Watson (Canton, Texas) shot +12 Par (156) and finished fifth at the DIII Lidlifter.
Hardin-Simmons sophomore
Alexi Buff (Abilene, Texas) carded at 164 and improved a place in round two as she tied for seventh.
LeTourneau freshman
Isabella Ferreira (Plano, Texas) tied for 10th at the Space City Classic with a 160.
UP NEXT
The spring season continues March 6-7 with teams competing at the Schreiner Spring Invite and The Whitney (hosted by Dallas). McMurry, Hardin-Simmons, and Concordia Texas will compete at Comanche Trace Golf Course in Kerrville, Texas, while East Texas Baptist and Howard Payne will play at White Bluff Golf Resort in Whitney, Texas.
