Kiser Headlines 2026 ASC Women’s Golf Awards

New Braunfels, Texas – Camryn Kiser was named the 2026 American Southwest Conference Women’s Golfer of the Year after leading Mary Hardin-Baylor to a conference championship and finishing as the tournament medalist. Kiser headlines the awards announced Monday following the women’s golf championship. Voting was conducted by ASC head women’s golf coaches and sports information directors from across the conference.

Kiser is no stranger to All-Conference honors, as this year marks her third selection in three seasons. She is currently ranked 6th in the region and recorded three top-three finishes this season, including strong performances at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational and Montgomery Women’s Intercollegiate, along with a first-place finish at the West Region Invitational. Her performance at the conference championship helped lead the Cru to the ASC title.

Julia Sosa was named Newcomer of the Year and earned First-Team All-ASC honors after a strong season for the Cru. Sosa’s best finish came at the Montgomery Women’s Intercollegiate, where she placed second. At the ASC Championship, she finished third overall.

Addison Payne earned Freshman of the Year honors after a standout season for Hardin-Simmons. Payne helped lead the Cowgirls to a No. 10 regional ranking while recording six top-10 finishes, including three top-five performances. Her top finish came at the Texas Legends Cup, where she placed second.

Aly Navarro was voted the 2026 ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year. Navarro, a graduate student at Hardin-Simmons, is on track to earn her master’s degree in kinesiology, sport, and recreation in May while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. “Aly has been an integral part of the fabric of my women's team since she came as a freshman,” said head coach Bart Craig. “She has been the constant encourager to those around her, and anyone who has played with Aly will tell you that she has a truly joyful heart.”
