OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Presleigh Thiessen, MF, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons senior midfielder Presleigh Thiessen (Denton, Texas) went for two goals in the 3-1 Cowgirl win over ETBU on Friday night. Thiessen finished the night with five shots on goal and two goals, helping the Cowgirls get to an ASC record of 3-1 on the season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Allie Angell, D, Jr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor junior defender Allie Angell (Belton, Texas) and the Cru defense limited Howard Payne to just four shots and only two on frame. She played a full 90 minute contest on the Crusader defense.

Mary Hardin-Baylor junior forward Leila Cunningham (Austin, Texas) scored the game-winner against Howard Payne. She totaled two shots with one on frame, the goal.

Defensive
Hardin-Simmons junior goalkeeper Samantha Longoria (Midlothian, Texas) came in for the Cowgirls and led the trifecta of goalkeepers that played in the match, finishing with four saves in 54 minutes of shutout soccer for Hardin-Simmons in the American Southwest Conference win over East Texas Baptist on Friday night.
