VB | Mosley named AVCA DIII Player of the Week

DALLAS, Texas – East Texas Baptist senior outside hitter Graycee Mosley was named the AVCA Division III Women’s Player of the Week, released Tuesday.

Mosley helped the No. 2 Tigers to improve their record to 18-0 this past weekend with three road wins in Georgia. She achieved her 74th career double-double this weekend after getting a double-double in two of three matches in Georgia. She totaled 45 kills for a 4.09 kills per set average with seven service aces. Mosley had 9 kills, 4 service aces, 15 digs and 13 points against Covenant in a three-set sweep. At No. 14  Berry, she had 17 kills on only three errors with a 3.78 hitting percentage, adding 10 digs. Against Oglethorpe, Mosley had 19 kills and just four errors for a .385 hitting percentage with three service aces, 22.5 points and 13 digs.

Mosley is the third Tiger to ever earn the weekly honor and the first since ETBU Head Coach Mallory (Sanders) Matthews earned the honor in 2015. She is also the first recipient in the conference since the 2021 spring season and second since 2015.

Mosley ranks 16th in the nation this season with 4.31 kills per set and 14th in total kills with 263. She also ranks 12th in total points with 304 points scored.

The Tigers return to action on October 9th with a home match against Centre College.
