AVCA Poll 

DALLAS, Texas - East Texas Baptist moves to rank second in the nation in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Division III Women’s Volleyball Poll, released Tuesday.

The Tigers jumped three spots this week to rank second with 2,020 points and four first-place votes. ETBU moved to 13-0 after a pair of sweeps over Centenary and Mary Hardin-Baylor. 

ETBU holds top ten spots in several stat categories across Division III. As a team they are third in hitting percentage (.272) and third in kills per set (13.89). Middle blocker Anita Hancock ranks sixth in the nation in blocks per set (1.36) and third in total blocks (60.0).  

The Tigers return to action on September 26-27 with a pair of road matches against Hardin-Simmons and Howard Payne.
