PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Michael Roberts, F, Sr., East Texas Baptist 
East Texas Baptist Michael Roberts averaged 18.5 points, five rebounds, three assists, four steals, and one block per game, helping ETBU to a 1-1 record on the week. He had 18 points versus St. Thomas, with five steals and six rebounds, and shot 33% from the floor. In the win over Centenary, he posted 19 points, three steals, four assists, and four rebounds while shooting 57% from the floor.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
 
Asher Fleming from Hardin-Simmons averaged 17.5 points a game in two tries for the Cowboys with wins against McMurry and the University of Dallas. He scored 22 on 9-13 shooting with seven rebounds against McMurry and went 5-6 with 13 points in the game against the University of Dallas.

Howard Payne's Jordan McClendon was a force all week averaging 13 points and five rebounds en route to HPU going 3-0 during that stretch.
