2025 ASC WOMEN’S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
BROWNWOOD, Texas – Friday begins the 2025 American Southwest Conference Women’s Golf Championship at The Hideout Golf Club. The tournament will feature three rounds with a champion named on Sunday.
Based on latest rankings, the seeding will be Mary Hardin-Baylor, UC Santa Cruz, LeTourneau, Hardin-Simmons, East Texas Baptist and Howard Payne.
Live Scoring will take place throughout the tournament to keep up with the current action each day.
Mary Hardin-Baylor was
predicted as favorites for the tournament after finishing second last season, just three strokes behind UT Dallas. LeTourneau and Hardin-Simmons tied for third at the 2024 tournament. UC Santa Cruz and East Texas Baptist finished sixth and seventh.
Based on the Scoreboard rankings powered by Clippd, UMHB is No. 24 and UC Santa Cruz is No. 36 to give the ASC two teams within the top 40. LeTourneau (57), Hardin-Simmons (65), and East Texas Baptist (66) are in the top 70 with winning records. Camryn Kiser from UMHB is the highest player ranked from the league at No. 63 with 23.64 average points. UMHB’s Izzy Crow (89) and UCSC’s Adeline Truong (91) and Olivia Lew (92) represent the ASC ranking in the top 100.
All six teams met at The ASC Preview in November. Mary Hardin-Baylor prevailed with a 599 to win the team award, while Kiser was the individual winner with a 74-70=144. UC Santa Cruz came in second and Hardin-Simmons was third.
