SOC | HSU and UMHB men’s and women’s programs earn USC College Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Hardin-Simmons and Mary Hardin-Baylor Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams were named 2024-25 USC College Team Academic Award Winners.

The Cowboys, led by Head Coach Brad Bankhead, finished the year with a 3.31 team GPA. The UMHB men, led by Head Coach Ben Allen, completed the 2024-25 year with a 3.39 team GPA.

The Cowgirls held a team GPA of 3.79 under the direction of Head Coach Rusty Oglesby. The Cru, led by Head Coach Barry Elkins, recorded a 3.67 GPA on the year.

A total of 721 soccer teams (296 men, 425 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 161 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.
