OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Aidan Aguilera-Reeves, MF, So., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore midfielder Aidan Aguilera-Reeves (Mansfield, Texas) helped the Cru to a pair of season-opening wins. He totaled three shots with two on frame in UMHB's win over Schreiner on Friday night. Aguilera-Reeves followed that with one goal and one assist in UMHB's win over TLU. He assisted the Cru's go-ahead goal before the Bulldogs tied it. Aguilera-Reeves answered for the Cru, sailing a shot into the top right corner off a free kick to put UMHB on top.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ryan Lord, GK, So., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Lord (Fate, Texas) started the year off with a 2-0 record in goal recording a shutout over Dallas. He posted seven saves facing 18 shots with only one goal given up. In the win over Dallas, 7-0, he faced eight shots with four saves. Against Ozarks, he allowed a goal in the sixth minute and then shutout the Eagles in the final 84 minutes. He faced 10 shots with four on goal and three saves. He stopped the tying goal in the 84th minute as ETBU held onto the win.
 

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Offensive 
East Texas Baptist sophomore forward Joshua Daley (Allen, Texas) had a strong offensive presence in both of ETBU wins with two goals and six shots. He scored his first goal of the year to make it 2-0 vs. Dallas in the 20th minute. He tied the game at one vs. Ozarks with a goal in the 26th minute. ETBU went on to score in the 74th minute for the win.
 
Hardin-Simmons sophomore forward James Webb (Waco, Texas) created multiple chances and finished the weekend with a highlight goal against Schreiner on Saturday to lead the Cowboy offense. In the second half, Webb earned a foul for a Hardin-Simmons penalty kick and later scored a goal of his own in the 4-0 Cowboy win.

Defensive
Hardin-Simmons sophomore defender Trace Binyon (Frisco, Texas) helped the Cowboy defense to a shutout against Schreiner on Saturday and finished by contributing on two scores. He assisted on a Cowboy goal by James Webb and later punched one in to score the fourth goal of the day for HSU.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor senior defender Dylan Vadnais (Comfort, Texas) played two full-90 minute contests in the Cru's wins. Vadnais and the UMHB defense allowed only six shots in two games with just five on frame in the wins. Vadnais also  scored a goal against the Mountaineers to give the Cru a 3-1 win.
