PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Jack Pease, G, Gr., East Texas Baptist
Jack Pease of East Texas Baptist earns his first Player of the Week honor after averaging 15 points per game, shooting 51% from the field over the weekend. Pease logged 40 and 39 minutes in two ETBU games played in Newport News, Va., as the Tigers split competition against Salisbury and Christopher Newport.
Pease has been a steady offensive threat for ETBU this season, averaging 14.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Junior forward Tyler Williams of Hardin-Simmons surpassed his previous career high, set last week, scoring 24 points to open conference play in a win over Howard Payne. Williams shot 67% from the field and 85% from the free-throw line.
Four-time 2025-26 Player of the Week winner Armonie Ramey continued his scoring streak, averaging 20 points over the past week while shooting 47% from the field.
Zachary Engels of Mary Hardin-Baylor recorded 25 points and 16 total rebounds in two games in Newport News, Va., over the weekend. Engels is currently averaging 14.7 points per game, second on the team behind Hudson Johnson.
