HITTER OF THE WEEK – Izabella Morales, Jr., CF, East Texas Baptist
Izabella Morales helped fuel a 4-0 week for East Texas Baptist, hitting .462 against regional opponents Willamette University and Southwestern University (Tex.). In a 10-2 victory over Willamette, Morales went 3-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and three runs scored. She finished the series 4-for-6, highlighted by a bases-clearing triple in game two that turned a 4-3 lead into a 7-3 advantage.

At Southwestern, Morales delivered another game-defining moment with a single to left field that drove in two runs and gave ETBU a 9-6 lead. She concluded the week with six hits, six RBI, and a .615 slugging percentage. Morales also added three stolen bases, one in each game against Willamette and one in game one at Southwestern.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Alexis Kemp, Fr., P, East Texas Baptist
Freshman Alexis Kemp went 2-0 on the week with wins over Willamette and Southwestern. She totaled 13 strikeouts across 10.1 innings pitched.

At Willamette, Kemp recorded 10 strikeouts, including six looking. After the Bearcats cut the deficit to 4-3, Kemp retired the next six batters to help secure a 9-3 victory. Against Southwestern, she entered in relief and tossed 3.1 innings to close out a 10-6 win. No Southwestern runner advanced past first base during her appearance, as Kemp added three more strikeouts to cap the week.
