MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Lucas Latimer, Fr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Lucas Latimer and the Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s golf team traveled to Dickson, Tennessee, for the GreyStone Classic, winning the tournament by 21 strokes. Latimer was the overall individual winner, finishing at 208 (-8) after a strong 64 (-8) final round—just one stroke off a program record for lowest single-round score. The freshman also led the tournament in par-3 scoring at -3.

WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Adeline Truong, So., UC Santa Cruz
Adeline Truong led UC Santa Cruz to a second-place finish in the UC Santa Cruz Invite, posting a two-round score of 74-74 (+4). Truong recorded birdies on holes 10 and 14 in round one, followed by two more birdies on holes 12 and 13 in round two. The Banana Slugs posted a team total of +39 while competing against six nationally ranked teams.

OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

Cole MacMillan (Mary Hardin-Baylor) placed second in the GreyStone Classic, shooting three consecutive rounds under par to finish at -7.

Caleb Kesting (East Texas Baptist) tied for third in the Goliath Compression Invitational, recording 10 birdies and one eagle for a 219.

Rylee Beard and Hallie Westfall (East Texas Baptist) tied for third at the Goliath Compression Invitational at Pine Dunes, helping the Tigers to back-to-back championships after placing first in the Linda Lowery Invitational last week

Ariana Chavez (Hardin-Simmons) tied for third at the Goliath Compression Invitational with a two-round total of 156.
