MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – Nico Lopez, So., Schreiner
Nico Lopez finished 12th individually at the Mountaineer Invitational with a time of 16:08, leading all ASC competitors and helping the Mountaineers to a fourth-place team finish. Lopez was also selected as a Preseason Runner to Watch ahead of the 2026 men's cross country season. 

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – McKenna Emerson, Jr., Schreiner
McKenna Emerson led Schreiner to a fifth-place team finish at the Mountaineer Invitational, finishing 16th individually with a time of 16:03.7. Emerson finished just one second behind the top 15.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES

MEN
Chance Stewart and East Texas Baptist competed at the Rhodes nvitational, where Stewart finished 19th individually with a time of 28:43. Competing against runners from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, Stewart recorded the sixth-fastest time among Division III competitors.

WOMEN
Danna Requena finished fifth individually at the Rhodes Invitational with a time of 19:51.30, finishing ahead of runners from multiple NCAA divisions. She helped East Texas Baptist to a fourth-place finish among 10 teams.
