LA CROSSE, Wis. - Sul Ross State junior Byron Jones earned All-American honors in the men's 200 meter dash on the final day of the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at Harring Stadium on Saturday.

Jones finished in eighth place in the 200 meter finals in 21.75 seconds. He joins UT Tyler senior Matt Godwin, who finished fifth in the javelin on Friday, as the American Southwest Conference All-Americans.

Also on Saturday, LeTourneau freshmen Alex Hindman and Austin Parrish competed in the men's pole vault. Representing the YellowJackets in their first varsity season, Hindman tied for 16th by clearing 4.65 meters (15 ft.-3 in.). Parrish recorded a no height.
