WBCA Release

DALLAS, Texas – The East Texas Baptist University women’s basketball team represents the American Southwest Conference as No. 22 in the final WBCA Coaches Poll of the 2024-25 season.

The Tigers finished No. 22 in the poll with 32 points. East Texas Baptist went 23-5 overall this season while recording an 8-0 mark in ASC action. The Tigers earned the ASC Regular Season Champion title, the ASC Champion title and the right to host the NCAA first and second rounds.

ETBU led the conference in point margin (15.4) and defense, allowing just 55.6 points on average. The Tigers also led the ASC in rebounds (1,281), blocked shots (115) and assists (441).
