ABILENE, Texas – LeTourneau University advances to the American Southwest Conference semifinals after a 4-0 quarterfinal win over Howard Payne University on Thursday afternoon in Abilene.

LeTourneau started the match with a 6-1 win by Zach Farris and Fernando Vazquez in No. 1 doubles. LETU’s Andrew Reiman and Diego Maldonado clinched the point for the YellowJackets with a 7-6 (7-0) flight 2 win.

Nicolas Gates added second point for LeTourneau, earning a 6-2, 6-1 singles No. 1 win. Diego Maldonado claimed the next win in No. 5 singles, scoring 6-2, 6-1. The YellowJacket’s Andrew Reiman secured the match win for LeTourneau with a 6-1, 6-2 No. 2 singles victory.

LeTourneau will take on No. 1 Hardin-Simmons on Friday, April 25^th at 2:00 PM in Abilene.
