CLAREMONT, California – The East Texas Baptist women’s tennis team closed their season at the NCAA DIII Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament Second Round.

The Tigers fell 4-0 to Pomona-Pitzer. The Sagehens earned the doubles point with wins in the first and second flights. They followed with singles wins in Flights 2, 3 and 6 for the victory.

East Texas Baptist claimed the American Southwest Conference Champion Title and earned the ASC Automatic Qualifier to the national tournament. The Tigers are 9-7 overall on the year and went 2-2 in conference play.
