PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ramey Armonie, G, Sr., Howard Payne
Howard Payne’s Ramey Armonie earns his fourth ASC Player of the Week honor for the 2025–26 season after tallying 22 points and 11 rebounds at Austin College. His double-double performance highlights his continued dominance for the Yellow Jackets, as he is averaging 22.1 points per game on nearly 50% shooting from the field. Ramey currently leads the nation in total points scored and ranks second in steals to start 2026.
OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES
Junior forward Tyler Williams of Hardin-Simmons averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in wins over Colorado College and McMurry. Williams recorded a season-high 20 points and 8 rebounds in 35 minutes against Colorado College. He shot 56% from the field and 86% from the free throw line across the two games.
Zachary Engels of Mary Hardin-Baylor totaled 51 points over three games, averaging 17 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Engels shot 63% from the field in three Cru wins over LeTourneau, Biblical Studies, and Dallas Christian. On the season, he is averaging 15 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
