MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Drew Marshall, So., East Texas Baptist
East Texas Baptist sophomore Drew Marshall tied for third place at the FST Crossing Creeks Invitational. Marshall opened the tournament with a 75 (+5) before bouncing back with an even-par 70 in round two and a 67 (-3) in the final round. His strong final round helped him climb the leaderboard as he finished with a three-round total of 212 (+2), tying with Buena Vista’s Ashton Richey.

WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK – Shay West, Jr., Hardin-Simmons
Shay West earns her second consecutive Women’s Golfer of the Week honor after finishing second at the Space City Classic in Houston, Texas. West shot an 81 (+10) in round one and improved with a 77 (+6) in round two to finish with a 158 (+16). Her performance helped lead the Cowgirls to a first-place team finish at the Space City Classic.

OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Rylee Beard (ETBU) tied for third at the FST Crossing Creeks Invitational with rounds of 78 and 77 for a 155 total. Beard’s performance helped the Tigers secure a second-place team finish.

Lucas Latimer (UMHB) tied for fourth at the Space City Classic, highlighted by a final-round 68 (-3). Latimer finished with a 212 (-1) overall as Mary Hardin-Baylor placed third as a team.
