MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Gabriel Harris, Fr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons freshman Gabriel Harris earns his first ASC Player of the Week honor after competing against Abilene Christian and UT Permian Basin. Harris went 1-1 in singles play, falling at No. 2 singles before earning a 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 win over UT Permian Basin’s Phillipp Gaurieder at No. 3 singles.

WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Abigail Diamond, Fr., Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons freshman Abigail Diamond earns her first weekly honor after competing at No. 6 singles against UT Permian Basin and Lubbock Christian. Diamond posted a 1-1 record, including a 6-1, 1-6, 10-7 win over UT Permain Basin's Sophia Crosby.

OTHER OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES

Erick Van Zyl (East Texas Baptist) went 2-0 on the week, helping the Tigers to a 7-0 sweep of Belhaven. He teamed with Mark Armbruster for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles and added a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles over Josiah Leggett.

Jazmyne Ford-Schartner (East Texas Baptist) contributed to the Tigers’ 7-0 win over Belhaven with a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles alongside Kristyn Dun. She also picked up a win at No. 6 singles by forfeit.
